Diesel Water Separator Filter

The Flashlube Diesel Water Separator Filter is a 30 micron diesel pre-filter designed to prevent water from entering into the engine via the fuel system and causing engine component damage.

Diesel engines are particularly susceptible to fuel contamination, as common-rail components have very fine tolerances. If allowed to pass through to the 2–10 micron OE filter found in most modern diesel engines, any water particles, or rust and dirt from the bottom of a fuel tank can potentially damage the injectors, pumps or other expensive mechanisms.

Damage from contaminated fuel isn't covered by most warranties and usually requires a separate insurance clause, so the repair price can quickly become excessive.

Designed and manufactured using a chemically treated paper media, it filters, repels and separates up to 95% of water out of the diesel fuel system, while collecting it into a visual and easy inspection draining bowl.

Attached to a header is a 30 Micron Pre-Filter/Water Separator Element, which contains the media to remove water & other contaminants.
